The Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication is a three year full-time degree program which is approved and affiliated to Lucknow University. BJMC program is so designed as to make thorough professionals of all the students. Journalism degree is extremely diverse these days and will prepare you for a career in newspapers, public relations, public information, magazines (which are as strong as every i-look up the stats), advertising, general communications and more. Furthermore, it is nearly impossible to get a job in journalism these days without a degree which provide the intrinsic knowledge of technicality and legal issues, norms and ethics related to modern days journalism.

Journalism will also give you the insight of print journalism, online journalism, broadcast journalism (TV and radio), blogging and digital media (producing videos, etc. using the computer), etc.

A student must put in 75% of the total attendance for each subject in the absence of which he will not be eligible to write the exams for the subject.

Students are continuously evaluated through a combination of assignment, tutorials, group discussions, presentation, and examinations. There are three sessional exams conducted every semester to test both the theoretical and practical knowledge of student in the respective subject along with the semester-end examination.
